E for Excellent

I have not written in the blog for a long time, and I did not know what to write about. Conveniently, we just watched V for Vendetta. Wow. That was a seriously good movie. Weird, but if you like movies that are a little out of the box without being totally out there, this one is for you. The brothers obviously like conspiracy theories, and this is no disappointment. I may not agree with them politically, but they make great movies. I can only hope that the world they foresee never comes true.

So what else is new? My company has moved into our own offices. Finally we have our own place instead of renting space inside someone else's office. It somehow makes the company feel more successful. I will still be working from home most of the time, but will probably end up there occasionally. Plus we have a new product coming out, so it is an exciting time at work.

Beyond that, it has been the usual flow of home improvement projects. We painted the upstairs bathroom with fish for Jenna, painted the kitchen and we are getting a new floor in the kitchen in a few days. I love home improvement! Speaking of homes, we finally sold our old house. It is great to have that taken care of, plus it provides some funding for our new projects.

Jenna is cute, and she knows the right words to say. Gina asked her: are you mama's baby? Jenna said Noooooo. Gina said: Then who's baby are you? The correct answer came back: Dadda. At least she knows she is a daddy's girl. Let's just hope she never forgets.
